How To Direct Message Someone On Instagram
To send your very first DM on Instagram, take a picture as you generally would. You can use just the same filters to "DM photos" as you can with all other Instagram posts. When you're ready to send it straight to a person (or a group of people)-- faucet NEXT as usual.
From the Share to menu to the top of the screen, tap DIRECT (see # 1 in screenshot below). Now faucet inside the Write a caption ... window, as well as kind out your message (see # 2 in screenshot below).
